Hi everyone!

TO DONATE GO TO:
 https://theyca.org/donations/

The Youth Consrvation Alliance is a Federal 501(c)(3) and a State certified youth environmental sciences charity. Your donations are tax deductible. 100% of the money you donate will go towards this youth and family oriented program.

EVENT DETAILS BELOW:

The Youth Conservation Alliance is holding a major youth fishing program on Round Lake in Hayward, June 13 & 14th heading into Father's Day. This program, now in its 15th year, is simple. 1) Register for the event. 2) Fish as much or as little as you want Friday & Saturday. 3) Keep track of your fish. (Measure them, take a picture, and release the fish back into the lake). We always encourage "catch & release" because there's only so many of the big ones out there! And Round Lake, has some super-tankers.

THIS EVENT IS NO-CHARGE.

To REGISTER: Email Kevin Bushnick at: kbushnick@theyca.org or call 847-987-3622 with the names and ages of the kids participating.  This program is for kids of all ages. Final awards and recognition will be held Saturday evening after dinner June 14, around 7:30pm at the Grand Pines Hotel and Lodge. This is a multi species fishing program with awards being given in 10 categories. We will have many professional guides participating so if you need a guide, please let me know; especially if you're a first-time participant. We will "hook" you up.

MEALS: Breakfast and dinner is provided Friday and Saturday on scene at the Grand Pines Hotel. People usually do their own thing out on the lake for lunch. Powell's and the Dock will be open. More fishing time that way. Food will be catered by Robin's Nest, Ray Jay's BBQ, and Famous Dave's Tamarack Farms. Many local businesses have already donated including Hayward Power Sports, Retreat Home Furniture, Deerfoot Lodge & Resort on the flowage, and many other individuals.

LODGING: All lodging for those who need it is on the water at Grand Pines hotels and cabins.

GUIDES: Guides are available for those he need one so please check in with me on coordinating this. We have some of the best fisherman on the planet supporting this event.

WAIVERS: Release Waivers are required, as are photo releases. There's always media around these events including ABC, NBC-TV and other shows and news outlets. I will send thes out separately ahead of the event.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support the YCA to educate children about the importance of having fun outdoors, and learning about the beautiful environment around us. AND, being safe around the water.

"FISHING, washes away from the soul, the dust of every day life."
