Announcing the Photo Contest Winners!
The Education Committee has chosen the winners of the photo contest for pictures submitted for use in the Round and Little Round Neighbors Handbook. We had two categories for the contest- Life on the Lake and Memories.
The winner of the Life on the Lake category is Diane Robinson, who submitted the picture that is on the cover. This picture is of her son Reed and his daughter Harriet. It was taken in 2021 at their dock on Fisherman’s Bay. Harriet is part of the 3rd generation of Robinsons to love our lakes.
The winners of the Memories category are: in the owners division, the winner is Bruce Klockow for his photo on page 2 top left of his son Andy and granddaughter Lisey kayaking in the channel between Little Round and Osprey. The photo shows one of her first adventures on the water! It was taken August 20, 2020.
In the renters division of the Memories category the winner is Sandy Peterson for her picture on the Resorts to Rentals page, bottom right of her family. The Peterson family has been renting the same property on Little Round for over 33 years. They visit Little Round in the fall for biking and in the winter for snowmobiling. They love our lakes!
The winners will receive a gift certificate for $25 from The Dock or Powell’s restaurant. Thanks to everyone that sent us their pictures for inclusion in the Handbook. You made the Neighbors Handbook special for all who love the Round Lakes!
