RLPOA relies on the support of local businesses to help in two ways:
- Sponsor an ad in the spring newsletter: The money collected for ads pays for the annual cost to produce and mail the annual newsletter and also offsets a part of the website cost. Ads are about 25% of our newsletter, and first option is given to previous year’s advertisers. Below are the ads from our latest newsletter.
- AIS Commitment Letter / Business Donation to support RLPOA’s AIS Grant Application: DNR uses a scoring system to evaluate a grant application. One area that is evaluated is financial support from local organizations. In the fall of 2024, we received commitments of $6,800 from seven area businesses (listed below), including rentals and non-profits. For more information, see the article posted on our website in May 2025.
If you own a business and would like to place a newsletter ad and/or make a financial commitment in the fall for a next year AIS donation, please contact Carol Kollodge at membership@roundlakes.org.
