Sawyer county recently received bids for the replacement of the old timber bridge/dam on the South side of Little Round Lake. Four bids ranging from $155,515 to $236,520 were received. The apparent low bidder was Haas Sons, Inc. from Thorp, Wisconsin.
The project involves removal of the timber structure, installation of a concrete box culvert and restoration of the roadway.
The Sawyer County Land, Water, & Forest Resources Committee will meet to discuss the bids on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 @ 8:30 AM in the Assembly Room.
