Wisconsin DNR - Public Comment Needed
The department is seeking public comment of updates to the floodplain model ordinance. These updates improve upon Act 175 provisions in the ordinance relating to how nonconforming structures are regulated in the floodplain and are needed to ensure that the floodplain model ordinance aligns with federal requirements governed by FEMA. Updated language is also included for campgrounds in floodplains to help provide additional flexibility for campground structures, particularly those that are not permanent installations in the floodplain.
